“The Starscape team developed an interactive experience for the “Star Tower”, the latest addition at Give Kids the World, a non-profit resort in Orlando, Florida. Children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are invited to stay at the resort free of charge, and part of their trip includes a visit to the Star Fairy. The child will personalize a small gold star, then come back the next day to find their star on the ceiling of the Castle of Miracles. …[T]his project intends to further develop the mythology of the Star Fairy and provide families with a meaningful and close-up connection with an object that is physically out of reach.”

Starscape was built in one semester by a team of 8 graduate students at Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center. I contributed in the overall design strategy, 2D elements and maintenance and documentation.
